the roof is due to a piece of felt moving out of place in the handle. Best way to fix this is take it into reno if its under warranty, or if its out of warranty or your sick of taking it in (like me ;)) then release the sunroof glass by pressing that little red button in on the handle. Then...
rear 3 windows whatever you want... paint them in blackboard paint if you want ;)
front 2 side windows need to allow 70% light through
windscreen as to allow 75% of light through
you could get away with 50% on your front 2 bit isn't worth doing imo...
ive had a 30 quid fine for my front side...
well was going to have 172 interior with headrest screens but mr above (austin) has changed his mind and is keeping the badmobile with them in for now.... no worries anyway. Im completing the 172 look with front bumper, wings and side skirts, hopefully taking her to rentech for 36k service incl...
not speeded up... just normal speed we got 90 mph on that bit coming up to the archway. was awsome, driving far too fast as usual. lol
Ye i love water :) not good for french elesctrics ;)
not my cup of Joe but the workmanship looks decent. Nothing worse than a modded car thats been badly painted etc. If you like it thats all that matters.
as above is a good point. Again Alternators are common with the burning smell, but if it gets specifically bad when you boot it then i'd lean towards it been clutch related especially as you describe the rough changes. 9k miles must mean it was a faulty clutch which again are uncommon, i assume...
How often do you use the car? if its mainly when you give it a bit of throttle its normal if its been sat in the garage for a bit. If the coolant level isn't going down theres nothing to worry about as the water can only be coming from condensation in the air mate.

correct me if im wrong guys...
that engine has individual 'pencil' coils. (IE one for each cylinder) Theyre really cheap off ebay and you can fit them yourself. Remove the engine cover and they simply 'twist' in and out and have a connector where the wire goes into the top. You will have to...
£6 odd from stealers. last time i took it in they told me it was split ( was very slightly) but couldn't identify the fault when it came to the engine smashing against the subframe when accelerating lol ;) ;)
Im looking for a way of getting screws and those little metal inserts that are used on bumpers etc, as well as those bungs that hold your arch liners on. I want to purchase some brand new for when i fit my new front end without bodging bits on etc but renault are useless, is there an exploded...
theyre pants mate. Shampoo is poor and the only reason that it doesn't leave spots is becuase the water is filtered. wash the car normally and dry it. If your really desperate use RO water which will leave no spots. Units with produce this start at around #60 but personally i wouldn't bother...
Mine did exactly this turned out to be air in the system. turn engine on and bleed it from the dust cap on the pipe under the airbox. mine was the same symptoms and air would release from pressure release on the cap of the coolant tank when it got really hot.
yeh i assumed this was the case. never took the front end off the clio just wondered if someone could tell me how to remove front bumper, then i should be ok from there. and how the side skirts are atached.
thanks
josh
Just wondering as im considering purchasing clio 172 wings, bumper and side skirts how the front bumper and wings are removed and how the skirts are attached?
thanks

my springs are fine. theyre just going to shorten the life of your dampers significantly. Expect to get 18 months max out of them. By then you should be able to get some shorter dampers.
