Hoping to get this in the coming weeks, I have forever been after a 24mm Nikkor f1.4 but now Sigma have released this I simply can't ignore it. My 35mm f1.4 A sigma has been amazing and if this is anything like that is, its going to be amazing...
They make them for clio, infact the ones I use will fit a clio caliper as the 306 gti-6 brakes are the same pad as 172/182. I have done trackdays, sptints, the ring, hill climbs and not had any fade from them. They do like to squeal though, so might not be great if used on the road.
Thanks for the reply, good to know the engine was looked after. The shell needs some love after looking more closely at it, so going to put it on its side this weekend and cut some of the rust out, clean up boot floor and weld in anything it needs. I will also be seam welding the boot floor and...
Awesome, thanks for the video! What suspension did it have on it when you had it, it is currently sitting on GAZ coilovers? I have also got the 16v engine you fitted in it, do you know the specs of the engine?
I am not sure you would for national events, aslong as the CC is the same worst case you end up in a different class.
Glad to see you considered it though, looking forward to seeing the cage all painted, you decided on a colour for the cage?
:openmouth:.... Get it in the forest or atleast on some tarmac events lol!
Get it built to meet regs (Not hard) MSA logbook.. BARS test, overalls, helmet, gloves. Then get it dirty in the forest were it belongs, or if you don't want to drive, I would happily and maybe let you co-drive! :tongueout:
So it turns out the Rallye I have bought, has quite a history. I think it was owned by a member on here and was a car built by skip brown many years ago. I managed to dig up the old project threads on Rallye register from 2008. Part of me wants to put it back to standard, but I really can't see...
So after futher inspection it turns out I have twisted the back end of the car, after removing the seam sealer I found a lot of rust and a thumb sized hole between the arch and boot floor. The cage did its job and held the car in one peice, but because the cage is attached at the back to the...
One from yesterdays wedding, I only had around 6 minutes to get this shot setup and captured as they where about to do first dance and cake cutting. I spotted the arch in the afternoon doing formal shots and thought I would give it a go.
Shot with one SB-900 behind the couple, triggered with...
The other things I forgot to mention is the use of the adjustment brush to bring out colours, here is the same photo again, but all I have done is just bring out the colours, exposure using the adjustment brush.
Again hope you don't mind me editing again.. Feel free to drop me a message to...
Shooting in RAW will transform how process your photos, mind me asking what camera you are shooting with ? I am no expert at light painting but when you use it try and follow the curves of the car.
Lightroom is so powerful don't be afraid to push the sliders up, also you can lower or increase...
@jaswalker24 nice capture, what program are you editing in? are you shooting in RAW?
If so with the photo above, adjust the white balance to balance out the blues and oranges, bring up the shadows so its so dark and drop the contrast a little and up the exposure.
I am rolling in an A4 now lol! Tempted but I don't trust it. I am gonna book to go away with the mrs instead I think, I was tempted to passanger but I will just give it a miss and come out next year.
Well bit of an update, I still own the car. Not much has changed with it, I bought a house the later part of last year so things went on hold for a while.
I dug the car out of the workshop, back in Feb to check it over and get it ready for this year. I decided to put the car on the rolling...
