Rocker covers leaking. If it's gone again it hasn't been sealed properly... Or like Phil suggested it could be the rubber seal around the vvt solenoid, which is a much cheaper fix
Re: Decision time. EDIT: Ultra Red ordered.
Not a fan of either colours as a keeper, as they're a nightmare to keep clean. As it's you though it'll probably looks spanking ;)
There's no sensible replacement although there is someone on here who is working on a VAG replacement which will hopefully help to make things a lot more interchangeable.
This will either be really good, or complete trash. TDU 2 was ok (obviously similar premise) but failed on the most important area which is multiplayer
It's not something you need to change regularly as the stuff is lethal but you shouldn't neglect it, especially if it's never been done as you'll probably have all sorts of shavings in there floating around. If you're not all that anal I'd say every 40-50k but it's up to you really.
It's a lot...
No the wink very much meant the opposite, it was something I just never got round to doing lol. That engine is now dead anyway (albeit not because of that)
7,800 on stock rod bolts ;) Got some ARP ones this time round though. I never fancied keeping it up there all that much. I've never had any reliability issues with ITBs. Only problem I had when I first started out was a crappy TPS. (dodgy filter elements aside)
This is why I didn't bother with brotherhood and revelations. They were just crap developed by a small portion of the original team.
AC2 was brilliant, so I'm expecting this to be also
The speed check camera picks up my reg just fine, therefore theres sod all wrong with it. (Not speeding btw, just a slow sign if you're even slightly over 30)
