After a day of shitty weather I decided to get the ND filter out for a first run. I can honestly understand why some people pay extra for carbon tripods having hiked nearly 2 hours with what felt like a lump of pig iron on my back.
Hopefully no more to come as I want sunshine and beers by the...
Re: iPad "Must Have" Apps
Yep, I have just tried a couple of HD files and it gave a warning that the iPad was too slow for them and then stuttered its way through. AVPlayer here I come. :)
Re: iPad "Must Have" Apps
I just found out that VLC works on the iPad2 perfectly. I assumed that I wouldn't be able to put it on there, but I guess as it was in my account, it is still acceptable. Bonus! :)
I think the feature set of your TV and mine are pretty similar (Samsung PS50c7700), except the Smart TV on yours which is the newer version of what I have. I was a bit miffed when I realised that the TV media player can play everything that my WD Live Hub currently does. I had only bought it a...
It depends on your telecom provider. Some allow tethering, and the iPhone 4 can tether out of the box if it is enabled by the provider. If it isn't, you have to jailbreak, then you can use tetherme, PDAnet or miwi. Tetherme is the cheap option which just enables the iPhone tether functionality...
I was always of the same opinion about 3D, until I tried it last night for the first time. I have had my Tv for ages couldn't be bothered to buy a blue ray player just for 3D... It turns out that you can also get SBS files for your media player which also work. I am not sure that I'll bother...
They are awesomely different wedding shots either way. Definitely have your own style in them. How is the new venture going?
Just out of interest, were you still working for HRH for the Royal Wedding or had you hung up your boots by then?

The only thing you can try is Recuva (free). http://www.piriform.com/recuva
Use it to search the iphone folder in windows and hopefully you can get some photos back. It works on USB drives, but I am not sure about the file system of an iphone. Good luck!
If you see them through the viewfinder then it is either dust on the viewfinder or on the mirror. Try and either blow it or brush it out. I wouldn't recommend blowing inside the camera body, as you will probably just end up blowing the dust closer to the sensor. Hold the camera upside down (so...
I understand that you can get arrested for actually committing fraud, but arresting her for dropping a receipt on the floor seems highly unlikely, given all of the stories in the news about the CPS dropping cases left right and centre for the smallest discrepancy. I just can't imagine the Police...
Cheers Scott, I had a play around with it last night and realised that I am probably going to have to actually read the manual!
^^ I like that. Great result for a bit of welding glass.
Never mind, I picked up one of these in the end.

Looks like an amazing piece of kit. I'm looking forward to my holiday now to try it out. :)
Don't sell yourself short. Just because you don't make a living off it, doesn't mean that your work isn't worth a normal amount. The quality of your pictures is superb, and probably surpasses most other "pros" as you put the extra effort into it still.
You are taking the shots and giving the...
That forum has an incredible amount of retards on it! Some of the stuff that is posted is just mental. The guy clearly has issues, he sounds like an engineer.
