Wheels loked spot on but the car looked to high - dark wheels don't work if you can see bright paintwork under the arches which shows up how high the car is. With a 30mm drop over the winter they will look spot on next spring when they go on.
Agreed - a machine polish is the only way to get a first class paint finish - you will never get a flawless finish by hand.
Using a Porter Cable machine it is pretty easy for even a novice using it for the first time to get a superb finish.
I look after a Black R32 to a neighbour, I have corrected the swirls by PC with Menzerna Intensive Polish and Final Finish fairly easily, yes the paint is harder than Renault stuff but decent results are achievable even with a D.A type machine.
Black Wow initially looks good but does not last any longer than Autoglym Bumper Care.
Best lambswool mitt I have found and only 8 quid - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/eurow-sheepskin-wash-mitt/prod_452.html
Probably worth using a good tar remover in the above routine and you will be getting somewhere.
As for the wax/sealant depends how much time, money and what colour the car is.
I was annoyed that I could not get 3G speeds let alone no web at all, you should ask them for a refund on your monthly bill if you have had no web access !
Mine says 3G, E for edge or a little square with a circle in it depending where I am, not seen it show nothing.
30 second job in the shop for a new sim, port takes a few hours and your new sim card will become active and the other one will stop working.
Re: iphone appstore must haves?
Seems a sweet little app, all working here.
Also found a pikey free renamed version of Tetris in the app store to keep me happy :)
Try the Tardis first, shearing it of with harsh abrasive compounds is never the best idea - whey remove clearcoat when you only need to remove the tar.
These Avons seem to last well, looking at the receipts on the miles done since the last owner got them fitted. Don't feel as grippy as the Michelins but can't do a direct comparison as we are talking different cars and tyre sizes.
Will be replacing the Toyos with PE2s on my 15s though for sure...
I would get the stick to the PE2s, or get the F1s.
I have the Avon ZV3's on my current wheels so only in 14's so can't do a direct comparison but they are not as good as the Michelins.
Like everything life you get what you pay for, my new wheels I am getting tomorrow have the Toyos T1R's on, will be changing them asap ...
PE2s are a big step up.
Cheapest is direct from Autoglym and your local rep but most don't have that option. I got 5 litres of it for next to nothing.
Matt does it with CS discount - http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/
