ziess wet lens wipes are worth getting if you can track some down too.
2thumbs did a review on a sensor cleaning kit here a while back. I have no experience of cleaning the sensor as I am too worried about making a worse mess.
Wow, would love to have a nosey around something like that.
I found an old WWII bunker in the sand dunes near us at the weekend. There are loads of them which were buried in sand after the way but somebody had done a bit of digging and broken it open.
Definitely going back for a proper...
^^ Good plan. The 50mm will open a whole new world of never needing a flash and a nice DOF to play with.
Wideangles are fun, but they are not suited to all occasions IMHO.
17-55 f2.8 is a good replacement but i think that they are double what you want to pay. Maybe signa have something or else try and go second hand. I have three 2nd hand lenses and could sell them today for what i paid 2 years ago. If you don't like a lens you can sell it on and there's nothing lost.
Meh....
You win.
What I was trying to get at was the software efficiency of Vista rather than related to hardware. Bad comparison to make on my part.
In reply to:
The fact that Vista has more running processes and requires more memory is progression. Nearly all programs evolve to...
50mm f1.8 should definitely be in your camera bag if you don't have one. They are cheap as chips, feel it too, but can give superb photos and allow you to take shots that would not be possible unless you were to spend some serious cash for other fast glass.
I must just be lucky then as Vista is not slower on my desktop than XP was. Even the benchmarks in 3D06 were pretty much the same.
I use both XP and Vista daily and don't really have a preference for one or the other TBH. Vista looks nicer, does not give me any problems at all and has some...
You haven't sold the 135mm have you? I saw a load of what looks like "for sale" shots in your photostream. I have been looking for one for ages but they are quite rare to find for a good price.
P.S. Between your model shots and your new camera, it is hard to find a reason not to be just a...
^^ knowsit. :D
What software do you use? We are due to change from SurfControl at the end of next month. Websense seems like the main contender so far.
the rubber on the end of a pencil is really good for cleaning the contacts. Just make sure you clean the camera with the body facing down or else you run the risk of covering your sensor with rubber crumbs.
Went back to the shop today, swapped my router for the top of the range Cisco/ Linksys effort. Everything is now working as it should. I just needed the double band to be able to get the higher speed. Although, even on 2.4, the connection does not drop off under load like it did on the Sitecom...
Open your task manager and see what speed connection you have with the router. I was also only getting 10mb out of a 20mb connection but it was my wireless connection which was throttling it. The wireless speed would drop to 11mbps when under load. New Router = happy days & 270mbps wireless...
Not if it is still buggered. lol
Did you have any luck with Sony?
I remember reading some reviews a couple of years back and they were respectable cameras. Quite pricy back then too I think, but then everything was. I paid 600 quid for my old sony compact!
No worries, I just wish I could remember stuff like that when I am actually taking photos and not when I get back and look at them on the PC thinking that I should have done something differently. Playing is definitely the best way to learn, and the most fun. Your 365 has more creative images in...
