Surely instead of an '03 1.2 you could have looked into an older sporting model?
If a 172 is too much to stretch to, then a 106 GTi is a good alternative, financially.
The yellow and red ph1 interest me the most and I'm happy to travel as prefer a rarer car.
I used to have a sundance yellow 106 GTi, a canary yellow 205 Rallye, and now my 106 Rallye in boring white.
I'm craving for colour ;)
Off topic, but the 1.2 Cup... that's just piss-take badge, yeh!? ;)
Saw it at FCS and assumed the owner had a sense of humour as he had a proper RS bodykit IIRC.
Fill 1 bucket with soapy water; the other bucket with plain water.
Before you put the mitt into the soapy solution clean it in the plain water, to stop grit and dirt going on the car :)
Yeh, I assumed that, but then rating it above the 106/Saxo for rawness.. :S
Surely the 106/Saxo are more raw, albeit mainly because of it's lesser build quality
Just a once over with a decent shampoo should bring it back to life if you did all that last week.
Be sure to rinse all the loose dirt off first with a hose, and wash using the infamous 2-bucket method :)
Hello, this is my first post.
I was just wondering if many Clio owners have come from 106s?
It seems like a natural upgrade to take, so I'm just interested in experiences - speed, handling, build, etc
Thanks in advance,:clown:
