how long have you owned your Clio?

7 years, I do lust after other cars, but the only way i'd drive something else is if I could afford to run the Clio aswel, it's just too much fun to ever get rid of.

Santa Pod - Saturday 21st June - All Welcome

I guess I win by default because no ones man enough to face me on the blacktop! Guess i'll have to go Impreza killing again, (as long as they f*ck up their launch, gear changes and have a misfire like last time) Inch or a mile, winnings winning, just ask any real racer.

    BMW M1

Watched that last week, Petrolicious do some great videos, it's a good looking car, reminds me of a Maserati Bora but much cooler. The back needs de-badging though.

    Which strut brace?

Well all those are CS approved mods, so we shouldn't bully you until you cry, unless you do something we don't approve of, then God help you my friend, GOD.....HELP.....YOU!!!!!!

    Which strut brace?

Sorry I was eating dinner. Yeah that little lot will certainly do the job. lol

    Which strut brace?

A front end refresh is the best thing you can do to these, sorts out any handling issues you might have, have you ploy bushed the dogbone and got/considered uprated engine mounts?
  11. DaveDreads

    Which strut brace?

This is the only strut brace that actually does anything on the 1*2's, but only because it works in conjunction with the top mounts. Not cheap though, this little lot will set you back £245 quid. http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=150&model=5...

    Gumball 3000 Hits Edinburgh

So his £40k entry fee is down the drain and so is his car, which I assume is a real Cobra, that's one expensive day even for a high roller.

What do y'all think of this 182?

It's had it's belts and dephaser done mate, as long as it's been done by someone that knows these engines then it'll be good for another 50k miles or 5 years, mileage is irrelevant on these engines as long as they've been looked after and serviced regularly. Those mods won't be making big...

What do y'all think of this 182?

If it's as he's described that and good car for the money, especially seeing as the belts and dephser were done 4k miles ago and the mods aren't extreme, they're pretty much what everyone does to optimise performance and eliminated the cars few weak points. As far as insurance goes, that...

    Players at Goodwood

That really isn't my scene at all, but I like the LHD cream pick up, the Hillman Imp, the two yank tanks and the black Caddy.

    Draining tank?

Top knowledge there, the filler neck is designed to make syphoning the fuel impossible and the rear seat bases are just slotted in and lift out so easily a one armed child could do it. lol
  19. DaveDreads

    Draining tank?

Get a fuel syphon and drain it from the top of the tank where the fuel pump is, if you look under the rear seats you'll see a round rubber thing, lift that up to get at the fuel filter, they're normally held in with a round metal bayonet ring, get a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and knock it...

    Just a drive

Oh yeah I wouldn't have done if there were cars coming in the opposite direction as I knew what was going to happen when we got to the corner, no need to inflict his idiocy on innocent motorists. He just locked up and understeered across the road and ended up about a foot away from a tree, all...

    Just a drive

LOL you're not the only one, I was on a B-road one time and an emasculated Dad in his people carrier was riding my bumper because I dared to do 60mph and not 120, when a nice 90 degree bend came up, he was obviously waiting for me to brake which never happened as I just threw it in, I went...

    Just a drive

We've all seen what happens when you go out for a drive, people end up in ditches and you drive past and leave them there. ;) Anyone would think I actually gave a sh*t what people do with their cars and time, it was just a simple question. lol

    Just a drive

Never, I drive my car every day and get to enjoy it's power and handling, there's no point in driving randomly around for no reason. Out of interest, how old are the people that go for random blasts to McDonalds? Because I have a feeling you'll all be in your early 20's and the novelty of...

    Acoustic valve induction

If you're using the standard airbox there's not much point, if you want a K-Tec style IK or V6 airbox then it's worth doing, although saying that i'm using a V6 box and all i've done is remove the hoses, the actual valve is still in place.

So slight you'll wonder why the hell they bothered to fit it in the first place.

    RDR's CS Camping Trip 5th July 2014

I can vouch for the boot being big enough to sleep in, on a road trip in my mates 1.8 Sahp I slept in the boot and had a great nights sleep, it's 6' corner to corner, there were 4 of us and I was the most comfortable out of all of us.
