Well you dont have to wear one @ crail thats for sure.. but then I cant see how they are a bad idea. You can crash quite easily in a straight line.. blowout.. debries on the strip etc. Just an extra safety precaution.

Do you ever treat the leather ?? I always use leather cleaner followed by leather conditioner.. keeps the leather nice and juicy (oooeer) stops it from cracking etc. Car is like 2 years old and the leather is in excellent condition.. Ofcourse you may just have a fat arse :p [Edited by _KDF...

Okay im not really intersted in an induction noise, happen to think the renault box is up to the job, but fancy replacing the filter with a uprated job. What are my options.. anyone just fitted an uprated filter ? just looking for something to give a bit more flow with less restriction for @...

I got a mint 8 month old 172 with 5600 miles on the clock for £9000 It was a 2002 172 bought in 2003 ! So in comparison .. overpriced .. ;)

If I took my 172 to you ben, gave you 2 Gs... what could you get the power up to ? Theorectical question but interesting to see what you can get for 2G (which is about the max of what most people will layout in a single go) Just assume its a standard 172, would all you get for that money...
