well looking at autotrader for your car, same mileage, age, colour, spec, etc, your looking at about 6k - 6.5k
plus for me i'd rather pay more for a decent one than pay rock bottom for a dog
they are pretty much ignoring 3 points now because its so easy to get them, and its more to do with personal injury claims than the value of the car, with the 197 being a lot safer in general hense if crashed theres less chance of serious injury
according to the thread he was doing 95mph and the brakes appeared to fail, he turned into the corner too fast and the car flipped and sumasalted through the gravel, so the gravel trap had no time to slow him down as the car didn't make much contact with it.
very good effort though
well the aa man said it was just a temporary, dont go very far, very quickly for too long repair, well we'll see if it can be repaired, if it can then the 2 tyres can go on the back as they are very close to being needed anyway, if that happens then i may buy your pe2 as a spare ;)
well the aa report says replacement tyre required and the repair is not to do over 200 miles or over 40 mph.
If it wasnt half 3 on a saturday i might have tried to get a proper repair but i didn't fancy staying at work for 3 days, lol, also it was flat as a pancake so dont think the side wall...
well i was thinking if i buy 2 the one that is ok can be a spare as i dont want to get stuck again will need a 16" steel or something obviousley, seen that in the for sale section but i'd still have 2 uneven ones...
I have a puncture that has been bunged up by the aa, what are ppl's thoughts on replacing just one of my front tyres?
Was thinking it is best to replace both at the same time since otherwise they'll wear unevenly, would you agree, noob question i know :o
and i see thats your really useful contribution to cliosport, from someone that no doubt has never even seen the colour
edit thanks for all the nice comments :D
cheers, cant believe how differant they look after going through photoshop (only added border and deleted plate)and phot0bucket, well i had a puncture by the time i'd got home and to work, got me a couple of hours off work though lol, plugged up for now, new one tuesday fingers crossed
the usual photobucket effect on the pictures, lol, enjoy some more inferno :D
Sorry but there haven't been any in this thread so far :o :
Thanks for looking. :approve:
shh marky, i'll get my pics up when i finish work, aa man has just kindly plugged my tyre for me so i've got a few more miles out of the tyre now, new one on tuesday hopefully (£110 :dead: )
i've just bought this one and am trying to work it all out, (might take a while), seems to be pretty good and gets good reviews, etc. http://www.jessops.com/Store/s73580/1-136-481/Home/Cameras--and--Lenses/Digital-SLRs/Nikon/D60-%2b-AF-S-DX-Nikkor-VR-18-55mm-f-and-35-56G-Lens/details.aspx
lol, ell your insurance is cheaper as everyones in scotland seems to be, sounds about the right price tbh, pretty sure the 182 and 172 are very similar quotes, why not just do a quote and the change the car to a 182.
