Also I think we need to make a distinction between 'Budget' and 'Ditchfinders',
'Budget' in my book means a known brand with good reviews for £45-£60 each,
'Ditchfinder' means no name sh*t tyres with zero grip for under £45 quid.
There's a massive difference between the two, just because a...
Nothing wrong with his car as he's a mechanic, although he may have played down his driving style to me. lol
I'm just telling you what he told me.
I liked my RS2s, but I won't use them again unless it's winter,
dry weather destroyed them on my car.
Very very soft compound, your 172 will eat them on a warm day,
a mate of mine put them on his 182 daily and they were f*cked within a month,
and he's a family man that doesn't drive like tit, just the occasional blast.

He got it for free, it's worth putting it on just to see if he likes it or not,
can't do any harm seeing as it's a 60 second job to swap them over.
If he thinks, nah i'll stick with the standard setup,
then he'll get a few quid selling it on here.
When I changed my standard box for a V6 I noticed a bit less grunt lower down, but a bit more higher up,
tbh i'm so used to the deep noise it makes, I think i'd miss it if I changed back to standard or the K-Tec IK.
I've just read the letter as I only scanned it this morning because I knew what it was,
well at least I thought I did, 'The cost to you will be no more than £95 inc VAT' cheeky f*ckers!!!!
They replaced it for free 5 years ago.
I got one of these through today, I don't really want the Renault monkeys touching my car,
does anyone know if they'll give you the part to fit yourself?
