10 x 50s laps at 3 sisters isn't staying out to long, they are far to soft for a track tyre in my experience. There was another guy there in a 3 MPS on the exact same tyre who ruined his as well, in contrast my mate in his 6MPS who was in the same session on budgets and his tyres where fine, see...

I delaminated a pair on the front of my 6MPS in 10 laps at three sisters. They have sidewalls of jelly and fold over on themselves when really pushed, they'd fair better on a light Clio but wouldn't last long on a dry track in my experience. Just get a cheap set of 15s with track tyres.

16s for looks, 15s for everything else. Mine on 15s below, still looks high on 40mm springs.

They'll look even lower mate once they bed-in as well. They look good, better with 16s on as well.

Nearly mate, try front tyre pressures at 14, 16 rear and full negative camber front and rear, toe in 0.3 parallel.

Not a hint of fade on my 1700kg 6MPS so in theory should work great on a 1000kg Clio, read they are pretty gash though on track on the 1*2.

@Luano591 Those springs will be fine as long as your shocks are fairly fresh, looked at yellow stuff myself as they were great in my old 6MPS but only lasted a day at Oulton. I'll have some ys if you can do the fronts and rears for £100? could do you a deal on a tidy steering wheel from a 182 FF?

Haha, done a new set of CL5+ in 3 track days since.

Good read mate, I done exactly the same with brembo pads at Oulton, they lasted less than half a day from new and I was blacked flagged due to them setting on fire as they were metal on metal, the drive home was fun. Can see them sparking braking into Lodge...

They use Wilwood Dynapro / Dynalite pads... Try FRP502H

Yeah the R1Rs seem your best bet or get some race wets of ebay. Last time I looked they were around £150 a pair for 3/4 tread full race wets in 195/50/15 alternative which is 19/57/15... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/152318048268
