just get a new socket. mines the same, i have to turn it in the plug to get it to work. they are piss easy to change.

It sounds like you could have a problem with the accelerator. This is fly-by-wire in your clio.

its likely to be the bearings. To find out you need to spin the wheels by hand. You will know which is faulty then.

there is one to the left of the windscreen, iirc there is also one in the engine bay.

the vin is checked. it should be on a few places in the car.

could be wheel balancing if it rumbles. The squeek when turning could be the pads making slight contact with the discs (seeing as they are both new) when turning. Mine did this for about 6 months after getting new discs and pads.
