I bought mine with three thousand miles on the clock back in 2006, for 10K. Three yrs later & sitting at 17,000 got nearly 9.5K for it. Not many cars that you can do that with. Would I shell out 10K for another, NO. Never go back, move on.

This, you may be surprised at how good the car is as standard. Learn to drive with what you have first. MY 197 used to eat Donington GP circuit & this is renowned as a brake killer. If you run out of brakes you are on them too much ;)
