Buy an e90 335i they said, it'll be fun they said ...

The silver stuff looks s**t IMO also. I’m also a big fan of wood but finding a set is proving difficult for me or very expensive

    Clio thefts

No point losing sleep over something like this. Clips aren’t desirable in the thieves eyes. Fn2 is a desirable car and rare. 172/182 as much as you may love it is nothing special to these folk

    The Green Machine

Your neighbours must properly hate you lol

    Catalytic converter prices

I don’t see how you can be mad at folk with a bit of guile making some money? Jealousy? If someone is stupid enough to not check eBay/forums before selling something like that then that’s their problem. It’s how any company makes profit. Charge more for the product/service than it costs

Clio being driven like a dick at Croft

Is it turbo’d? I have no idea what’s going on but surely something’s broken? No way anyone would drive that badly

    My New VXR (Holden content)

The standard insignias, vectras, astras are fairly poop but the hot versions are decent.

    Thoughts on high mileage 182

There’s so many out there. Just go and have a look at some others

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

I agree about handling vs power. It’s all about matching the chassis to the power

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

Was gonna say, it’s a bloody good job. Looks like you bought them from bmw

    Clio Phase 1 Rsi Purchase.

Yeah they should’ve been a bit better engine wise but just look at it! Interior is awesome too

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

Those interior parts are awesome. How much does something like that cost?

Advice Required .... about a dodgy garage !

Should’ve offered it up to a local clio sport member. It’s an easy job if it’s been done before. Keep that in mind next time

Saw rsi and clicked so fast. Severely disappointed thinking it was the beetle!

Advice Required .... about a dodgy garage !

Have you used them before? My honest opinion they don’t sound the best, take it elsewhere and pay for it to be sorted properly. More hassle than it’s worth, plus do you really want them looking at your car again

    *NOISE NOISE NOISE*

I’ve never understood noise limits on track. Surely given most aren’t even road cars what’s the point in noise limits? Not like they’re right next to houses or anything

    Halfords socket sets

That’s awesome. Never heard of that brand

    Halfords socket sets

I hit my ratchets with hammers, extend them with bars putting a serious amount of pressure through them and they’ve not missed a beat. Quite surprised at your claim. I even drove over one of the ratchets with no I’ll effects

    Halfords socket sets

I’ve had mine for about 5 years now maybe more. Haven’t damaged a thing and I use them weekly. It’s a great kit. The 150 piece is the one I’ve got

Big gay wings, do they really work on track?

As far as I’m aware aero is very speed dependant ie the higher the speed the more effective. A short tight track you won’t be able to make use of any downforce

Just another M3, this time with a V8.

Nitrons look amazing. Probably the best kit you can get for these. You don’t hang about on the mods either. I really want an e9* m3 at some point in my life

How do you check the temp? In my e90 id like to give this a go too just to check it

Cheers again mate. Doesn’t seem to come up ok eurocarparts when ref entered but found it separately. Cost of oil has definitely went up recently!

@Sir_Dave @terryc101 Gents what’s the recommendations for oil for these? Gonna do an oil change myself prior to having it done at a garage next year. Just for piece of mind really. Don’t wanna spend loads ideally as the oil will probably only be in the car ~8k before it’s changed again

    Crash question

All you can say is in your opinion if it was too fast or not. You can’t prove what speed and I’m surprised they even asked that daft question. Should’ve said you didn’t have your speed gun to hand

    Crash question

Oh right. Between 1 and 30 mph. Does it really matter?
