I like it.
Interested to see how the interior looks.
And regarding pricing, yes it will be expensive. However I have a feeling that like the old one, it will hold its value remarkably well.
I'm tempted.......
Nice and coming from Type-R, that's good to hear!
That MPG is perfectly acceptable for me, so I'm happy enough!
SOHROB, I don't suppose you know any more about when the M-Sport will be ready to order? Had my deposit down for 6 weeks now, but still can't spec a car!
Also, if proof was ever...
I absolutely love the idea of a Vauxhall Meriva VXR.
An old-biddy mobile with 178bhp as standard? What's not to like?!
Would have to be silver with steelies, a "1.2" badge and a remap though. Driven like it's been stolen all the time.
I'm going for a new BMW 328i like this....
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?631372-New-F30-BMW-3-Series-M-Sport
Part of me is a bit concerned the new motor won't live up to the FD2..... As nice as the BMW will be, I don't think it feel as special or have the wow factor/rarity of...
I got a call from my dealer last week saying he'd been on the phone to the HO, and has been told that the online configurator for M-Sport is almost ready to go and should be up in the next 2 weeks..... so will be available to order from then.
He assured me on the phone again that assuming I...
I doubt anyone cares, but my baby went off to its new owner last week...... :( so just been reading this old thread to remind me of the good times....
Got a stupidly long wait until my new car arrives too which just makes things worse. And to cap it all off, I've just realised I've lost my...
Buy mine then ;)
Oh and without wanting to sound like one those internet-losers..... but I'm pretty sure that's actually an FD1 (and is just a FD2 replica) strictly speaking ;)
Still looks nice though. Diffuser especially.....
My brother has some on his supercharged EP3.
He seems happy enough with them but he only really uses the car as trackday weapon.... never usually uses on road.
Actually, I think his might be a full Tein set-up with dampers etc. rather than just lowering springs.
But they've done a fair few...
Yeah, I think you've got a point here. This is a major concern...... Oh well, apparently mine should be one of the first M-Sports into the country so will hopefully get a 3 month wow factor at least....
Oh well, still an improvement on my Type R. Hopefully it'll be cheaper to liberate more...
Really??
What are you seeing?
This is a slight concern given one of the reasons I've ordered one is that I'm hoping it'll give slightly better economy than my Type R!!
The 320d is a pretty incredible engine too. Hard to imagine 5 years ago that now the basic diesel in the range could give a hot hatch a run for it's money to 60 and also return 60mpg!
I could have got the 320d at a bargain price on our company's subsidised car scheme, but the 328 was...
Yeah, I personally love the front end of it too. However, it's the rear of the car which I find most disappointing. Could do with a more aggressive diffuser set-up I reckon.
They've taken a lot of cues from the BMW i8 supercar concept for the front end. Looks "snouty" and quite aggressive I...
Looks fantastic does the new Boxster.
I can't wait to see how the new Cayman will look off the back of this. Not a fan of soft-tops generally, so the Cayman will be a bit more up my street!
And ditto on Harris's awesome videos.
What do people think of the new 3-Series M-Sport guys? Due to hit UK roads from July....
I've just placed a deposit on a 328i, 2.0l twin turbo with 242bhp and 258 ib ft of torque (boring stuff: 147g CO2 & 44mpg combined) to replace my FD2 Civic :approve:
Needed something a bit more...
Looks nice enough but I'm willing to bet a reasonable amount of money that within 12 months you'll be making a thread saying, "the A1 was just too slow and I was getting bored so have refinanced again at extra-ordinary cost to buy a < insert random sporty car >".
I do love Chris Harris's videos.
He sounds so typically car nerdy I could probably listen to him talk about the "feel" of the steering all day long.
Although I do like the GT86, does anyone think the interior is too low rent for the expected £25k price tag?
For about £20k it'd be about...
Nice choice!
I remember test driving one years ago when they first came out. Really good fun but I was put off by the slightly lofty driving position and it felt like it could do with a 6th gear for M-way cruising as it seemed a bit buzzy at M-way speeds.
I ended up getting a 197 instead...
Wow, looks seriously quick.
Really really really want an S3 now. Had enough my JDM hoonery now and feel its time to grow up. Only thing putting me off is the potential new A3 later this year...
I'm guessing now that your car is Bluefinned, surely its not that far off an RS3's pace now is it?
