Yeah, insurance on a modified car, especially if you are still young is a joke. Even for something as ridiculous as wheels. Try a quote on Quinn Direct as they are happy for you to do any cosmetic modification without even telling them. Try a quote and see. Excess is only about £180 too...

I have F1's and find them great. Backs haven't worn at all, fronts maybe 1mm in about 4000 not easy miles. They just keep gripping too and still feel safe in the wet.
