You lot are awful.
To partially answer this thread I found a clio with the prewiring plug.
The black and white does indeed go to the salmon wire on the hazard switch.
The white wire is a little more complex as it appears to have a connection to nearly every pin on the UCH so I really need to...
Afternoon chaps
I'm trying to fit an alarm to my DCI which unfortunately I can't get to work. I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind testing which wires on the UCH go to which wires on their alarm pre-wiring plug.
My DCI and cup both don't come with the alarm pre-wiring plug so I need to...
I'm still none the wiser on exactly which pin this is although all diagrams are pointing at it being grey plug e3.
@McGherkin If you want to fit climate properly I can recommend putting a complete 1*2 interior and engine bay loom in. You don't really want to do what I have and splice a load of...
I already have A/C and always have but it's stopped working since I fitted climate control. I guess the signal wire is different between climate and not.
Evening chaps
I'm trying to work out which pin it is on the DCi which turns the A/C on as the diagrams I've got aren't giving a particularly clear indication as it seems to change.
Has anyone got climate control they'd be willing to see which pin goes 12V when turning the A/C on. It should be...
Filled it up with fuel for the second time this week.
Took delivery of a new rad, coolant, turbo and a few other bits.
Tried to get the A/C working but failed again.
Renault sell a cobra alarm for clios.
I've just stripped one out of my 172 to fit to my dci and don't see why it wouldn't work.
Something like this but obviously for your car...
Oh lordy don't tempted me, let me know what you've been offered though although at the moment I doubt I'd be able to beat it. It would be a custom shaft job definitely.
Civic sounds lovely BTW matey. Had to quickly clock post before I got caught on CS whilst I'm meant to be revising! FMIC...
That makes me sad Stu but at the same time it's always good to have a new car. What did you go for in the end?
Sell me your dci really cheap just because I fancy a 100bhp conversion
My battery light came on the other day. Alternator was fried, smoking like a nut. Jump start it. Let it run connected for a bit. Take off the leads and test the voltage over the battery. If it's just 12v the alternator is dead. I'd expect closer to 14v if the alternator is working.
