At the Hobby Horse on the A46.
Good meet, well attended, met loads of new & old faces:clap:
Cheers Aud's for organising it
Do another when the weather is better;)
There ain't no place to fit it too if you understand.
I put mine new on yesterday, trying to line up old holes was a waste of time.
I started fixing each end, then the middle & work your round.
I needed more then the screws supplied, i think some bumpers are more level than others...
Today as it was freezing i took the tomato for a drink.
After the guy at ATS realised you needed to remove alloy housing at front of engine to get to oil filter, things went fine.
Fresh oil shell helix ultra 5w/40 synthetic, (filter & washer i supplied) + a spare 1l top up.
While oil...
Seeing as there supposed to be common;)
I see a silver 182 & 172(col) black 182, 172 cup.
Oh an a trophy when i step out my front door.
Recently went to Leeds & back & only seen a couple of 172's.
Ok lets say you buy your CAT C/D car, for 'good' price.
Insure it, later in the year you are involved in either accident or have it stolen & it's written off again.
Will the insurance company pay out 'again' for a car that in there eyes & information has been written...
Remember this........http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=174361&highlight=inferno+cup
The guy was gutted, it's since been for sale again.
So it's a 54 plate with 3 - ? owners!!!!!!!!!
So much for CAT D.
I personally wouldn't bother viewing a car with a 'hidden' history.
Hello, what we are talking about is 'value'.
Damaged goods have less value than perfect.
The reason for buying a trophy is mainly the fantastic handling, so why would you buy one with serious damage??????
These are a limited edition & if you look on CT you can find the history to most...
The insurance company didn't write off a 15K motor just because of a couple of hundred quids worth of damage.
A smashed up & glued together 'ming' vase has the same value as a perfect example:nono:
YES!!!!!!!
He would say it drives 'staight' he's trying to sell it:quiet:
In the USA there are laws protecting the public from cars like this, Lemons they call them.
