The air con has a safely switch, if system needs regassing it will not allow air con to work. In the summer my wifes cars air con kept coming on then going off, at the garage the mechanic said look at pulley not turning, even when switched on, also no click as it engages. £75 later it's back...

Renault replaced mine no probs at 18 months, got told very common prob.

Delete it & forget it.................
