I've had a tyre replaced like that. They put a patch on the inside (what's the process name again, someone?)
Was absolutely fine for about 10k after that.
Aviva don't load for non-fault claims and I've found their CS good thus far. I'm not a high roller though, so I was keen to find somewhere that didn't charge me more.
I went to a garage and asked nicley if they'd have a quick look at my xenons. They were needing adjusted and they did it for me for free. Asking nicely was the key part here.
I don't really understand why you've got your insurer involved. When my neighbour hit me, her insurance dealt with everything. I never once called my insurer to arrange anything.
Oh, and declaring the incident cost the the grand total of £0.00 come renewal.
My replacement has developed a camera fault after only a few weeks (well, about 6 weeks). Purple lines flash up on screen and appear also in pictures. I'll do a reset first to see if that clears it.
Nope, no issue. I had mine replaced in Glasgow for the same reason a few weeks ago. Had mine since September. In and out within a few minutes with a new (read as refurbished) iP5.
