Will the drivers work with Vista and also a lot of them on ebay seem to have been bought from AOL. Will they be compatible with other providers (i.e newnet)?
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a cheap wireless router which is compatible with vista and offers good coverage/range?
I'm helping out my mum lol!
Her line supports up to 6.5meg and her provider will be newnet (unless I find a cheaper option lol).
Cheers
Alex
Well I’m 26, 6 years NCB, 0 convictions and 0 accidents and you couldn’t quote me on my LCR.
My postcode is M20 which if you know Manchester is one of the more affluent areas (Didsbury).
I appreciate why you might not want to insure someone living in M14 (Moss Side) but I don’t consider...
Greenlight are extremely competitive but won't insure high risk areas (e.g. Manchester)...Basically they will only quote you if they consider you "low risk"
IMO insurance companies are all thieves in suits. Why when you get fined for doing 33 in a 30 does your yearly premium rocket!? Surely...
Sorry if this has been asked a zillion times but how durable is EGP???
I applied a coat of SRP and then 2 coats of EGP to my car at the weekend. I was also planning on waxing (P21) but unfortunately I ran out of time. When washing the car next weekend is it ok to wash it, add a further coat...
I know this question has probably been asked a million times but...
Can you apply SRP over EGP or do you have to strip any previous layers before commencing the SRP ---> EGP ---> WAX process?
Hope that makes sense :S
I've just had my rear bumper fully resprayed (Tuesday) at a garage after a little bump! I've been told by friends to let the paint cure for at least a week before washing it.
When I picked the car up the garage monkeys had just jet washed the bumper and dried it with a cloth...Would this not...
I've got really deep marks which have been caused by bird poop! It's completely dissolved the lacquer in places :(.
The previous owner probably couldnt be bothered cleaning it off! I've been told that the only way to to get rid is a respray!
Wonder if human poop would have the same affect...
Save your cash for your next car IMO. I wouldnt bother spending £400 on a set of wheels that caost more than the car.
Use the car and have fun in it! When you get your hands on more cash then buy something else.
You're a student mate so if I was you I'd be enjoying the booze!
I appreciate the importance of a good polish and sealant but what about Shampoo???
I would never buy Halford's own brand (which I'm sure is probably quite reasonable lol) but is there really any difference in the following brands?
Mer
Chemical Guys
Autoglym
Megs
Zymol
etc etc...
Hi!
I ordered some products from their website yesterday (lunch time) but I'm unsure how long it will be until I receive the goods (I need to make sure someone is home to sign for the goods)
Any idea???
Guesses are fine lol!
Final two question mate then I'll leave you alone lol!
Can you provide an example of a good non cleaner based wheel wax?
Also what is Chemical Guys Wheel Guard? Is it essentially the same as combining SRP and EGP?
Cheers
Alex
Hi,
I'm after some advice...TBH I've found this site better than any other for detailing info :)
I bought some SRP, EGP and a Meg's clay kit from halfords yesterday and I plan on giving my car the wash of a lifetime this weekend.
I've ordered some P21 wax which won't be delivered next...
I want to spend £25 max on a good wax that provides a decent shine and lasting protection...
The following wax's have been mentioned a lot on this site but I want to know which is the best and which you would buy?
Chemical Guys - XXX Hardcore Paste Wax
Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax Blue...
