    Well speaking from my own experiences, the only time I've seen a bus pull out on someone is when the bus has been indicating, moves off but about 3 or 4 jackasses still try and pass anyway, resulting in the slowest drag race ever witnessed by man.

    How does the sidewall profile have an affect on how stretched the tyre is? Genuine question btw, not a sarcastic comment. ^ read the f**king manual

    175/65/15 winter tyres

    Oh right, well the difference between 205/45/16 and 175/60/15 is pretty much nothing. I believe that narrower tyres will perform better, but I'm no expert.

    175/60/15 has a rolling radius that is similar to your current summer tyres (I'm assuming they're 195/45/16?). If you go with the 65 profile, it's quite a bit larger. I'd be going with the 60 profile myself.
