I dont think it'll be Bayliss or Peaches, there the only 2 I know up this way with Vee's
What do you drive, may have seen you around pool as I work there.
Went to see the dude at National tyres and he let me loose with his tools.
Got it on a good jack, then used and BIG rubber hammer to smack it about, came of after a few hits but was propper welded.
Coppersliped it all up and painted caliper back at home. Jobs a good un
I personally think a good old witch hunt should be organised in each town, city and districts country wide.
All the normal and same folk just gang up, go around and kick them to f**k regardless or what they have or may have done.
Basically anything with classic reeboks, socks tucked in, shelly...
Guy's, been trying for 30 mins and getting frustrated.
Jacked up car
Loosened bolts
but wheel wont come off?
Tried kicking it from both ends, levering with a crowbar braced against the caliper and nothing will budge it.
All the other 3 wheels came off after two kicks.
Any ideas, gonna wait...
Not a lot really, BMC Panel Filer or K&N Induction, Magnex system and now the map.
I want inlet matching myself and possibly a 182 manifold if I can find one, but need to chat with someone more clued up on engines
I hunted around and you'll struggle to find one cheaper that has the reputation.
I would have spent more but RS Tuning came highly recommended and I pass that on again. Sometimes, just sometimes you don't get what you pay for, you get a deal
And I eat a lot of pies tooo.
As Paul says, saturday lunch time in leeds is not the best place to go rallying and he had no spare undies at work so I went easy.
The map is perfect, I've juiced up with 97 RON and used half a tank jetting about already, when the wife finds out I'm dead.
Pound for pound the best modification you can do in my experience.
Went down to see paul this morning and in 30 mins the new map was on and we were out drivng, didn't get to see much difference around Leeds but the drive home was a different matter.
The car has never been so smooth, power...
My left light was out and when I checked the rubber seal was off so think that so water has got into the ballast.
Do these dry out naturally or is it screwed?
And to replace the ballast is it easier to remove the full headlight unit?
that will decide things then, gashed off with the weather also as I wanted to return my car to the std airbox with BMC filter before the map too, but its pissing down.
I'll have to content myself with a nice rstuning sticker
Its a valve to make the air induction noises meet eu specifications due to plastic piping being used.
It should only really affect the noise levels of the car slightly and performance even less so.
If you want to fit a larger bore air feed you need to remove this.
If you can't get it done pop to mine later and will do it for you. I have little hands and swapped both mine in 10 mins a day or two ago.
Sidelights are even worse.
I've heard about removing the acoustic valve, does this make airflow better?
And without loosing a fog light is there a better way to pipe the air in using an aftermarket hose?
Cheers
