I've always said to myself that if insurance for a car exceeded £500, I would get rid of it/not buy it in the first place.
I was just saying that I personally would not pay that amount for anything.
I'm 23 and adding my mum and aunt drop my premium by about £200. I'm with Elephant. I also say the car is in the street. Driveway and garage are more expensive.
All costs like road tax and insurance should come off at the pumps when filling up, imo. Everybody has to fill up, so nobody can avoid it. 3rd party as basic, and if you want, a fully comp top up style system.
I have never had a renewal price through that has been lower than the previous year. I just shop around, phone them back and see if they'll match it. If not, its byebye.
Alreet. I'm having a wee issue or two. Quite frequently, when trying to access Google and Yahoo, I am getting a page that says 'Oops. This link appears to be broken', or 'Invalid URL'. Anyone know what's causing this? I have cleared my cache, but it does not seem to have helped.

I read about it this morning...on the BBC in fact. It said that initial reports were it's nothing special. I've not looked into it though. Really lost interest in phones that do everything including scratch your arse.
She probably wasn't going anywhere near 15mph. I hit a wall once in my Clio. I was rolling backwards at literally walking pace. The noise was unreal. Sounded like the back window had smashed and everything. But there was only a scratch from the wall, nothing else.
