Think we pay around the same but have 2 V+ boxes and a regular box.
I was under the impression the 'alloys' you were referring to were actually just steels shaped like alloys. A plastic hub-cap then goes over the top. Ford and Vauxhall use the same style as well on lower spec models.

They are plug and play as far as I know.
I've looked at quotes for getting mine mapped. If I get a map to about 170bhp, it will cost me an extra ~£80. But I can insure the 170bhp version of my car for the same price as I'm paying now. That to me doesn't make any sense.
