Okay matey your the marketing boffin. Lets not argue with you because you have 4 stars!
200bhp is ample in supermini category.....agreed??
200bhp in hot hatch category is cack.......agreed?? (Or it will be in 2-3 yrs time)
I would say the clio is aimed at the hot hatch market and not the...
Okay, when someone mentions hot hatch these cars spring to mind
FRS/147GTA/R32/S3-A3/LCR/CTR/Clio V6/182/172-Cup
Okay these cars may be priced above that of a clio, but we are not talkin about price here, we are talking about HOT HATCHES!!!!
Okay the clio is best in class ie supermini...
I would say the CTR is better built and equipped than a 182. Interior is so so much nicer, has a 6sp box, racing styled seats, excellent driving position, bigger brakes, better performance etc etc etc
Jon, you wouldnt say that when i mention performance so why say it now
Why is the CTR in a different class tom??
A clio 182 costs £14500. A CTR costs £16000. This new clio is quoted at approx £15500.
Can you tell me again why the CTR is in a different class??
In 2 years time the way the hot hatch market is going 200bhp is only going to be average! Its only...

Renaultsport clio
The three-door performance flagship due in summer 2006 will retain its familiar Renaultsport moniker and the winning formula of lightweight body, tail-happy chassis, honed suspension, a gutsy 2.0 litre...
135mph in a 1.4 and still pulling??
Ill speak the truth, you are talking bullsh*t!! Your not a 14 yr old dreamboy making this up are you? Do you even have a car?
Everyone nowadays has a camera phone, Ill send you a £50 cheque if you produce a real picture of your speedo doing 135mph at 5200...
In all honesty ive got a feeling you never had insurance in the 1st place. If thats the case you deserve all what is coming to you!!!
A confirmation e-mail tells you if your insured or not. If you never received it then why the hell did you drive the car in the 1st place. Oh and the insurance...
And who is the bloke?? No-body knows him, not even the thread starter.
My cousin got his car pinched a few weeks ago, i never plastered it all over here though!!
What a pointless sh*t thread!!
Oh and whats the point in this thread??
Theres hundreds of GTIRs out there! Without a registration number its f**kin pretty pointless posting it in the 1st place!!!
Right, why am i a cretin???
If my car were stolen, id hope to god i never got it back! That is what insurance is for!!!
Stolen cars are ragged senseless and if and when you do get it back it will be on HPI.
Come to sell the car in the future and youd have to knock a couple of k thousand...
sh*t happens mate, this happened to a lad i know and he got £5500 back from the insurance. His car was only worth £3500.
If i were him, i wouldnt want it back!! Insurance claim should be on the go and he can pick up another 1 for £3000. Probably have a nice profit aswell!!
Nothing worse than...
If money is no object to you then why are you driving a Renault clio??
Nothing wrong with Renaults;) but if your on megabuck wages would you not be driving around in a glamourus super car style car?
Porsche/Lambo/Ferrari/Noble/TVR etc etc etc....
To save Brazos blushes above ^^^^ im sure he is relating to the 60-100 times and not 0-60.
Not unless he is severely pissed and paraletic after watching the England game, then he probably does mean 0-60.
Yep happened to me.........
Take the cover off your wiper at the bottom where the motor is and tighten the nut. Thats all thats happened mate, the nut has come loose over time and just needs tweaking back up.
If you got caught doing 94mph mate, your speedo would have been reading around 100mph so you should have known you were takin the piss a bit. An excuse of not knowing your speed when at 100mph on your speedo is pointless. Theres quite a bit of engine noise difference to start with.
Now i got...
The 182 scored a 6.73 and 17.01 in the test.
The Cup has done the 0-60 dash in 6.5 according to Evo, so the cup has been proven to do the 60 dash quicker. As for the 100 dash, im sure thats in the 182s favour.
If its good enough for 500bhp scoobs and evos, i think it will be good enough for our cars. Ive only ever heard praise for well lane, but take it down and see what you think.
Your in the perfect are for Well lane turbo centre. Its in Batley, Leeds. About a 20 minute drive from Bradford.
It has to be 1 of the best in the country, its renound for tuning high powered scoobs/Evos/skylines etc.
the phone number is 01924 441364. It has 2 and 4wd rolling road capability.
