Jesus, i cant beleve you drive a 10 yr old rusting tin shed. Some chavs need to i suppose;)
I have a weighbridge in work so no trouble at all really. Just fascinated when all these PWR figures come up with people like yourself quoting car dry weights. I mean cars dont run by themselves do...
WEIGHT
Kerb vehicle weight
1035 kgs
Gross vehicle weight
1490 kgs
ClioSport weighbridge tested vehicle weight
1120 kgs
These measurements were taken from a car with a full tank of fuel and do not include the driver
Here it is again, just incase you are incapable of pressing...
Your so deluded you muppet.
What you went to a dodgy caravan site for? Were talking about cars.
My MG weighed 1090kg kerb, with me and full fuel load the car weighed a tad over 1200kg. Next on the hit list was my CTR, that weighed 1204kg kerb, with me sat in and full fuel load it weighed...

2live, with cars like these, they dont need to be proven mate. Clios on the other hand do, as is the reason why there are so many 1/4 mile regulars from here. I bet the noble driver has no intention of ragging it up a 1/4 mile strip.
Where on earth did you learn this garbage from?

1200kg with a driver. The book doesnt quote a 172 as 1200 kg does it??
Kerb weights are without driver/luggage/fuel as said in above link 172=1035kg...
Markus, my pal had a 400bhp GTIR, doubt it would see an 11.5 1/4 mile though. Thats maclaren F1 pace.
As to 1/4 mile times, unless run at the pod they mean nothing IMO. Anyone can strip the car, and run on petrol fumes. York times and pod times vary quite a bit.
I reckon 60 onwards myself...
Nobody mentioned speeds of 80-90mph mate.
100-110mph and upwards and your getting close.
Plenty of people approach and go beyond these speeds on a daily basis. To keep up with the flow of traffic day to day youll be hitting 90 or so. The majority of people will plod along at near on 100 but...
From a personal point of view i totally disagree with that mac. The handling abilities of my car never even entered my head when i bought the car, but some people do think about it. Ie car enthusiasts who buy gtis/williams etc
I mean racing through the tight twisties at 100mph or so is shear...
6.6 in the wet? Where did you find this info?
Like i said a CTR will convincingly pull away from a 182 at speeds over 100. The end of 4th and especially 5th is sluggish in the 182. The CTR has its hard revving vtec lump along with short gears and a 6sp box and the LCR has its short geared 6sp...
Ian, its not just 6K for 45bhp more mate.
Its a lot more, ie 18 alloys and 4 pot brembos. A full size 18 alloy spare. Climate and air con/recaro interior/6 sp box/150mph top end/tracker/6 box cd with excellent sound.
Its the quality of the car what you pay for. The clio is a quick car but it...
Top speed of a Cupra R is 150mph book figure not 141 mph as youve stated. Like all cars the speedo goes way beyond this and standard cupra Rs are capable of 160mph. 0-60 seems about correct and 0-100 is 17.0 not 18.0
And no way does a 182 do a 6.3. No other magazine has came close to this! Evo...
Why would the megane scalp a LCR when both have similar weight/power and torque??
The megane was tested last week on top gear was it not? The R was quicker
Tom, have you driven the CTR?
Electronically controlled, with not much steering feel!
If speeds were not an issue and instead of 1/4 miling 1/2 mile tracks were used then the LCR would show the performance gap between the 2.
Everyone takes a cars 0-60 as its performance indicator. An LCR...
LOL at the excuses coming. Admit it boys 2 times in the space of a week and youll argue whites black and blacks white. If that were a chipped example it would be much more than a second ahead of a 182 and more on the doors of the scoob and evo times posted. 245bhp at wheels and 290lbft of torque...
Being 17 and having a driving experience of 3 minutes, i would pretty much say you will prang a car such as a 182.
If its a bad prang then on TPFT your dad will be £12000 out of pocket and youll be carless.
Thats of course if its even possible to insure a £12k car on TPFT
I wasnt aware you could insure a car worth £12k on TPFT.
Every insurance company ive been with gave a £3000 max limit.
With Adrian Flux, i thought you had to be 21+ to insure a car like a 182. They told me to bugger off when i had my scooby at 20
