When this cold weather is here my 172 creeks from a bit when setting off from a standstill. Im pretty sure its something like the salt off the roads or something but im not entirely sure? It done the same last year too. Does anyone have the same problem??

I was on a clio meet earlier this year and there was a lot of fast driving going on (without braking the speed limit may i add;o). There was 182's, a trophy and some 172 including mine and there wasn't one of us that was any faster than the other. i can understand this between the 172 and 182...

Its reading 25 degrees today and it quite obviously isn't. It done it last year too. Anybody had the same and know how to fix it???

How is this done and what are the real gains? Is there any downside to doing this? Thanks

Been on a clio meet today with some other people from round carlisle. Drove over 200 mile most of which was hard driving and braking.
