or maybe you could pull the original ones off, and screw them on at a different location on the boot so when they are fully expanded the boot stops. bit risky that way. maybe you can take them to bits and stick lumps of metal inside so they don't open as far ? you only nead to modify 1 really...
yeah, tie it around the top of the strut, and on the bottom of the stut so it doesn't expand all the way... they are the metal poles inside the boot like mini shocks
it won't stick very well, not worth trying it will crack and fall off. best buy a second hand bumper, and modify that one and see what it ends up like. or buy a replica fiber glass bumper from one of them cheap places, then you won't have any problems
mmm, my metal pipes have burst twice, took it to renault, they changed them, and put like metal braiding on some parts of the rubber pipe to stop it happenign in future i guess. is it the part where the wires electical wires go, cos i wouldn't worry about that, just stick like some good tape...
i made my own custom rear exhaust rubber bracket, with them big fat round rubber lumps from halfords, cut the renault rubber out of the brackets and squeezed that in the round halfords thing, and cable tied the rubber bit to the metal bracket, excellent.
yeah you will need a new cable or something to hook up somewhere in the engine to make a rev counter work. just call demon tweeks, they can sort you out with some kind of kit.
