someone on here made a custom mount for their tomtom (or satnav at least) that fitted into the recess on top of the dashboard. does anyone know who it was? i'd like to see the thread again.
ive done a search for custom satnav mounts (and other combinations of words) but cant find it.
long...
initial city link are by far the worst courier i have ever delt with. everything thats been sent to me using them has always come with the box mangled to f**k.
you only need a coax lead going from the wall to the freeview box and dvd recorder really.
are you recording from the freeview box? if you are, ignore what i have said above.
is it possible that the aerial connection in the freeview box is only live when the box is actually on? i cant remember what the correct name for that type of system is though...
this is how mine is connected up:
external arial to freeview box - arial to dvd rcorder - arial to tv. so thats my signal in.
then i have:
freeview - tv (using scart)
dvd recorder - tv (using hdmi)
yeh you can use that ncb you got with the 10 months with other companies. i have got 2 years no claims using this, and it does not state anywhere on your ncb certificate how it was gained.
i thought that about google earth though, but now find it very handy. i find it easier to plan a route using google earth than a map, because i can see local landmarks to look out for. im hopeless with street names.
