took a tonne of pics today, before the car goes into the bodyshop. mainly so ive got evidence of what its like, how things are fitted etc. as the last two bodyshops have done sh!t jobs, meaning ive now got to have a half car respray to fix their crap shoddy work.
its all good though, as ive...
saw you down by apevale valley (i think)
you were parked up in one of the long driveways, but i'm positive its you as it had bright yellow alloys on it :D

spotted a very low, so probably, coilovered black gold 182 this afternoon down College Road in stoke. Also saw quite a nice, but standard, silver 172 coming out of staffs uni with the reg plate D7*NY
that is all for today :rasp:
First proper pics posted since my new 182 interior was fitted (first clean pics anyhow lol) also note my nice shiney handbrake button thanks to Giles (clio_GB) and my new just matz :D
saw you yesterday both yesterday, was on my way to see giles at northwhich so somewhere around that area lol racing blue was on the homechapel congleton road :)
Could someone a dab hand on photoshop or whatever it is, sort me some quick photoshops of the two wheels below onto my car. wheels are currently 15'', but am looking at getting 16's so would be great if they were marginally bigger - but beggers cant be choosers lol.
car...
got bored of the willy wheels, and have been looking for some new wheels and i've come to a grinding halt as i havent got a clue what im looking for anymore.
could either go euro, stay with 15's and go as wide as possible. however not sure how driveable this would make the car.
otherwise...
couple of pics grabbed when i'd put the standard mk2 ph2 clusters on. really has made a big difference to the back of the car - i couldnt believe it lol
may have been a cup but who knows lol. spotted down knypersley area this morning. may have been lowered, but i have to keep one eye on the traffic ;)
mark.
a dark coloured 172 (53 plate) going down biddulph bypass.
had what looked like a dual exhaust (i.e. one pipe on each corner) and think they were slightly ovalised.
i liked it :)
just a couple of pics of the carbon badge fitted and the new plates. as my cars a never ending story ive still got work to do including refitting the splitter, fitting new rear clusters, sorting the stone chips, speedline stickers, and of cause the bloody swirl marks the bodyshop left me. also...
whats the best thing to get the plastics looking like new as my baseplates have really gone discoloured. ive got some auto glym bumper care which seems quite good, but the white stains still come back through.
any 'cheap' suggestions appreciated - otherwise i shall send them off for spraying.
decided to do my front badge in carbon to go with the whole carbon/black look, and i'm really impressed with it, looks mint on the car. Will get some car pics when its fully cured :)
if any one wants the carbon to do one, pm me and i'll see what i can do :)
just got my private plates made up and had them cut down a bit.
problem is that i've now got holes from where they have previously been drilled in. should i get them filled and sprayed over - or should i just buy some standard sized number plates.
also, anyone have a rough idea of cost...
would this go anywhere near a mk2 ph2 on coilovers, and would i need spacers :)
have also seem 16x8's i want, but only come in an et35 *runs off to measure car*
:D:D
seeing as me and edde ran our cars at the charity event we thought we'd have a bet as to whose was going to produce the most.
eddes dirty diesel, vs. my 1.2 16v.
heres my RR slip, now wheres eddes ;)
also note, that he only took it to 6,006 rpm as i didnt want him to cain it from...
think it was the one which was commented about on here because its a standard colour, had morettes, looked like there was still a for sale sign in the window :)
saw a trophy down at cobridge traffic lights at about 6.25? had a girly driving it. cant for the life of me remember the number plate, but im adament its the same car holdcrofts were advertising on their website. (as the numberplate looked familiar lol)
on the way home saw a flame red 172...
Trophies in congleton beginning with MT55, and AJ55.
T**SAR 172 being serviced at lookers in macclesfield, and a blue V6 down lichfield street in hanley.
Very nice silver V6, going round the roundabout by the honda garage. Also a purple v6 lookalike later on, could have been a real one but the track on it was wrong, the arches were way to big for the wheels.
..for sorting me out some white willy wheels and putting me 182 seats in :)
