Are ktec offering full refund? As much as you like the car, I feel a refund and start again would be the more simple/easier and less agro going back and forth. Especially if you get it back after its fixed and your still not happy. Time off work, travel money, etc has to be considered also...

@leeds2592 I haven't used it as such, but done a trial run and seems good. Used a friend's one (although different brand) and was impressed.

I have some 100mm bass ports. It's only for aesthetics, so I have no ducting behind it, just mesh. The most annoying part is they face slightly inwards and not straight and it backs onto the fogs, but for £6 it's a cheap option and I'm sure many have made backing plates and ducting for it to work.
