K1 had it from new, before that I had the TL1000R, the Gixer is still awesome though, in fact its that good I dont see a reason to update, performance wise any way, Although I think the K5 on looks an awesome bike. Still I`d consider a straight swop.

Ive just asked Quinn Direct, regarding changing to angel eye fronts and LED rear lights, theyre fine with it, only increase in premium if the insured value of the car is increased.

Anyone had an insurance hike after fitting Angel eyes or rear LEDs?

Ive just been in touch with Quinns, the increase in premium all be it 62.5% is correct. So future learner/insurance seekers beware. Regarding the other matter, they need to be informed of any modifications to the car.

The alloys were declared at the outset. So there would be no apparent change in premium. However if you do a search on "Quinns" the general opinion, is as I have stated above, that they are tolerant of mods provided there is no power increase. Ive e-mailed Quinns to confirm this but not yet...

Hes got the bug. Its those angel eye wotsits next, then he wants a different grille where will it all end.

I received replacements from Deviant Styling as promised, have fitted them and everything seems spot on. Good response from the company well done and many thanks.

Deviant Styling have been in touch and offered to send a replacement set. I will add further comments upon there reeipt.
