im at work on the net most of the time! im looking to get rid of it in about 3 months. its been cared for and looked after! got 155bhp at ep rolling road.
i would say if there is no visable leaks then to check you head gasget is not letting water in and if not just flush the coolent again and...
what i would do is to try and find out where its leaking from? are you sure you bled the system correct as there are 3 bleed points on the 1.4 areny there?
18s will really affect the handleing and also the speed. it depends what you are after looks or speed. i would personally stay with 17s but its totally up to you!
also how much is it lowered by as this might help people tell you if it will catch

i think i standard t25 should runup to 15 psi fine or even a t28 would be a bit better. go on http://www.sxoc.comwww.sxoc.com as the s13 has a 25 standard and s14 has a 28. should be able to pick one up dirt cheap off there get it reconned if needed.

interesting bit of reading cheers boys! i think i will be in way over my head with rebuilding and tuning the willy lump myself! i think that when i have saved up enough cash i will pass it all over to andy to do!

looks like you have blown the head gasget. just take the head off and get it skimmed and get the heas all cleaned up ia nd the valves reseated. fit a full head set of gasgets and should be sorted.
a garage should be able to do it for around the £300-400 mark

what is the best splitter to go for? do you get the one off the mk1 or mk2 ibiza?

he is in cambridge mate. my fan just stayed on constant and would not go of!! just needed a new switch and it was sorted! i would say try a new switch first as they are not much money.

Craig i would say that your best option is to get it fully mapped up and the cams timed. i know this is not gonna be cheap mate but it will be your best way to getting the engine all set up and should running well and all the components working together.
