So I have to sort out a project for this year at college.
Got an idea, organising parameters for instruments at work and putting them in QR 2D Barcodes.
Also wanting to put a URL to a website i'll design at the top where other things like manuals will be accessible when within network...

A few of us convoyed over to this last year, was a great meet and I know a few are interested in going again this year!
So, our little convoy will meet at Hartshead Moor Services on the M62 Westbound at 1pm. Would like to set off at about 10 past to get there for 2pm.

I'm wanting to insure all my 'gadgets' so I don't have to rely on my parents house insurance being valid like Ive done in the past.
Want full accidental damage and theft cover, would like breakdown cover too. And want a good company who will repair with official parts or preferably replace my...

I'm wanting to share the printers connected to my mac with a couple of windows 7 laptops on the same network.
Followed a few guides tonight and can't get it working.
Anyone know how to do it? Or have a tried and tested guide?
What have people gone for?
We already have a fancy laser printer and a multifunction inkjet but neither are AirPrint compatible. I've done the AirPrint hack on my MBP but it's not practical it having to be on whenever I want to print.
So don't need anything special, just cheap as it'll...

My rear passenger wheel seems to be knocking over pot holes/bumps
Jacked it up and there isn't any play in the bearing, the spring isn't broken or anything, don't know what else to try.

I've been tasked with buying a UPS (or maybe 2 if 1 wont be enough)
I need to keep 2 PC's and monitors powered for around 30 minutes before the UPS auto shuts them down should there be a power fail, also some sort of surge protection would also be useful, want something reliable and robust...
