The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

Justa a morning visit. Left early (4:30am) to go there hoping for a foggy day but it didn't happen. Unfortunately its hard to plan it all as its still nearly 2hrs away from me but next time i think i will go in the afternoon and get some dusky/evening shots. I was saying to Ant, i was hoping it...

I give it 6 months before you do a little mod of some kind.

No mods on the new arctic at all? Not even billies, or anything?

    2118 Decals

Just use some light abrasive polish to remove the old decals then place the new ones on. I did that to mine and although they are gone, there is still a faint mark where they used to be so easy to apply the new ones on as you have a starting point. Oh no :(

    oVerboost's Liquid Yellow 182

From way back when I had my BG. I have the same caps on my white 2118s. What I will say is that my rear wheels needed spacing out as they wasnt flush with the caps. I bought 5mm PMS wheel spacers and its perfect now. Something to consider. I have pics of this if you need them.

    2118 Decals

White is original. So I would say that or a silver/light grey. Other colours wont suit it with your car IMO. Are you buying from N2Grafix? I need to do the same.

Me too. I actually asked ant for recommendation and tips. I've got a lot on from and seeing others members pics inspires me to get out and shoot.

Few pics of my turbo'd cup

You can do anyday you want mate. Some camp on Friday and Saturday, some camp just Saturday (that's what I normally do) and some just come for the day on Saturday and drive home. So we'll see you Saturday

Spoke to @Scrooge about places in/around dungeness as I fancied going there again. He told me about St Thomas á Becket church which is nice. Got a few pics of it which I'm happy with but these 3 are my faves.

    Jekyll's RB182 Progress Thread

It's not necessarily better with wheels, it's more what you prefer. Me personally I prefer the stud and nut type. I take my wheels off a lot and I find it easier as you just remove the nut and the wheel still stays in place on the studs. But some prefer bolts and the look of them. But seen as...

It'll be approx 5mm shorter so you could always add a spacer? A lot of people run 10mm rear hub spacers, but I'm unsure if you are running any?

I bet mate!! Should look great. Get some pics up when they arrive and are fitted. Are they et38 or et43? I'm thinking of similar by using the existing holes and then drilling all the way through and welding nuts on the back so it's captive that way.

Thanks mate! I've been asked by a few members now on how ive got my ride height set up so i took a few pics last night which may help others. The rears are basically as the kit comes apart from these: The gap between the lowest part of the arch to the ground is 580mm. This give...

Setting ride height for 182 street / track

These are the pics i took. Bare in mind that these are on Bilstein and not Gaz but at least you have a measurement guide. The gap between the lowest part of the arch to the ground is 580mm. This give this drop side on: I cant say ive noticed a drop in height since fitting the PMS mounts so if...
