Just took my B14s off after 18 months and they look like new, little bit of corrosion at the bottom of the rears and a seized adjuster but I'd be using some protection if using the car daily
So today it happened, started. breaking AD52BHP and fitting the trick bits to the turbo and the cheaper bits to the Cup
Only got the rear done today
Hadn't considered how long it would take as doubling up each job!
Not really, can hard launch a low boost easily, mine just leaves a lovely stink of expensive clutch from doing them.
Not as noisy and raw sounding as bodies, bloody annoying when they backfire in residential areas and the turbo noises scare local dogs, but turbod Clios are a lot of fun
If I had two nice cars at home, I'd be looking at something like this for the daily https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/choose_your_lease/66359/citroen/c1/12_puretech_82_flair_edition_3dr.html
Oddly, day before I bought it, I was at @leeds_182 house looking at his Cup, if he'd text me earlier I'd never have bought it.
3 years later, I can't bring myself to get rid of it!
Since my post above, mine has become our daily whilst we look for a C4 Picasso as our lease ended and our daily went back.
Around town, it's a normal Clio, with the odd bit of turbo noise and occasional back fire. Turn onto an NSL and it's a different animal, very different to NA even with...
I'd be tempted with an offer over 4k. It's an amazing transformation on the 172. But... https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/18670897_10154536138121867_7112025724802610544_n.jpg?oh=6a6cd7862c7b46506447e1f1444bf83a&oe=59B3BAF1
We're using the turbo as our daily at the moment whilst we...
Odd. The car was sold on here for £3800.
I'd not be spending more than £4k on it. Decent low boosts are not worth 4k+ as you can pick up something running high boost for £5k.
Not many Meg piston versions around but then thats because they go bang
I'm dreading listing mine for sale as people will want to pay peanuts, yet there are sellers out there like this who want the earth when they have a shed.
Can't believe you were able to drive it home when I saw the photos on CSOC on Sunday I thought you'd be stranded.
The Weekender has always been a good weekend away, still gutted I missed this one :(
