What size plate is that Andy? Car looks ace as always. Glad you discarded the exhaust. It would take it away from what you have which is a lovely nice oem+ car.

I'll keep you updated. They seem affordable and great if you want to add the brace at a later date. Prices after them ktec and then grams/Kam racing and then big money AST''s. I was limited as I already have the holes in the turrets so only had 2 options. If i didn't and wanted to go for solid...

That oddesey for £5k isn t standard either. Has different shocks on as you can see from the inside of the arch and also poking through the top mounts. Look like Koni yellows?

I will keep you updated mate  Better turn in, direct steering, covers my holes in the turrets! CSOC? I lasted a few months, but being polite, that place is just not for me  This is good to hear. When i spoke to Nick, he said the difference in PDC between the PMS ones and the Ktec...

    182 noise

A brand new genuine front bearing is £60, I'm guessing that was fitted the price you paid? Also, once again I presume the ABS ring change was labour included? Still seems expensive but its done now.

    Joe tims ph1 172

1 of 99 originally too. Lot less now, I broke the same mileage one a few years ago and I bet I wasn't the first or last. Miss that car.

    Front Speakers

@good So you plug that into the can of the head unit, then just turn down the bass on the speakers, so they have more oomph and less stress? That simple, plug and play?

    My Inferno Story...

That looks a nice little sleeper-ish number now. However the gold f1s look much better on it. But gold 2118s will look the bestest out of all 3. But I'm with what @OssPoop said, that it'll need to be lower.

Plugs cost £35. While the inlet is off, I'd do them, seen as there 4 years old.

    Vmaxx springs over-compressing?

My first kit (on the BG) was fine throughout ownership. I bought them 2nd hand but was only 3 weeks old and had done very little mileage. The only issue was a knocking on the rear. After some investigation and a thread on here, it turned out to be knackered shocks. They would compress quickly...

    Recaro'd Arctic Blue 182FF

Looks very clean. Love a new sabelt, they look so good clean. Considering the wheel is a genuine on and it's been discontinued now from Renault, a good sticker is the only difference from the mild etching, which you have. Limited numbers from Steve too.

    Vmaxx springs over-compressing?

Put up a wanted thread for the rubbers. There's normally someone breaking car that will have some and they normally go very cheap. Your springs are standard for vmaxx. My old BG and Ph1 both did the same. (2 separate kits, not the same kit on both cars)

I did yes. When I bought the car, it came with Ktec solid top mounts which I sold as it was easy to make money back. I then bought aftermarket Febi ones, which are ok. They do creak however, when the car is stationary and I'm turning. Whenever I lift up the bonnet, is see the 3x drill holes...

I think I'm £700+ this week. Plus time in fitting. This is why I briefly thought about breaking it, but after a wobble of the head and a good car clean, I got the love back so I'm continuing the RB project/progress.

    Bilstein B14 rear shocks (172/182)

Mine sits lower on one side and also knocks on rebound. I get a boaty feeling and I've has it before where it was rear shock related. I just hope it is otherwise, it was a £300 risk that may have not paid off!
