Paul CTR, Mine Blue, and the silver air in-takes, IMO look great they break up the colour of the car. It might look like a big blue blob otherwise. Plus I think the blue could scratch easy, and to get into my car when its in the garage I have to squeeze down the side of the car, blue intakes...
Thanks for the comments guys. However Ill stick to running the car in thanks, I always have done. My Mk1 172 was ran in and that went like stink. My 3 series was ran in and I noticed a real difference in that over time.
The V6 really does feel pretty tight, especially the gears. But the engine...
Cheers mate. Nah, Im a right stickler for procedure. 675 Miles and nothing over 3000 rpm.
A question for you Steve. Does yours run a little hot?
I noticed yesterday the temp gauge was a little above normal, had a look under the engine cover only to find the expansion tank just below...
Picked her up yesterday after work, and absolutly love it. :D
Id never seen one in the metal up untill that point, and the pictures in magazines really dont get over the message of just how amazing it looks. My cheeks actually hurt from grinning so much, I must have looked a right nobber.:p...
Ill post a pic of the alloys (If somebody gives me detailed instructions) when I get it home. Although theyll probably be covered in crap.
Its rained for two days solid. AR$E:(
Went to my Renault dealer yesterday to sort everything out. The car will be ready on Friday. So Ill get it taxed then I can drive it away on Saturday.
Cant wait.:D
5 DAYS TO GO
Renault dealers just phoned me. A v6 has just turned up in Teesport with no where to go, if I want it he said its mine.
Not bad, only a 14 day wait for Clio V6, thats customer satisfaction at its very best.
I just prey the bank can be quick on its heels.(y)
The difference in performance between SUL and Optimax can be down to the engine.
My old 172 seemed to prefer SUL to Optimax. But the BMW loves Optimax.
Ill wait and see what the V6 likes, either way Im expecting it to like a fair old tipple.:devilish:
So how long have you had to wait Steve?
I ordered my V6 on Saturday and the dealer had it shown on the screen as arriving at the port on 23rd of Feb, so I pick it up for the new reg in March.
I think thats a bit optimistic, but well see.
Im always pretty amazed at the prices that Admiral offer me.
When I had my 172 they beat every other insurer by hundreds. Ive been with them since I was learning to drive though. 8 years, I had a claim after 18 month when some knobber stole my car. Hence why Im down to 6 years.
PS: The 330...
I had my Mk1 172 when I was 23 and paid £750, Im now 25 Years old 6 years No Claims, £1052 fully comp on a new Clio V6.
Both with Admiral.
I feel sorry for you guys.
What colour are you getting Steve, like I said Ive gone for Blue. I liked the sound of the black, but Im trading in a black car. They look great and Ill be sorry to see it go but I wont be sorry to see that paint colour go.
Did you get any discount? Im getting the V6 and a "New Megane" diesel...
