Aye, you need multiple DP1.4 cables with DSC for high resolution high refresh. DP 2.0 will definitely be needed for the next gen after this.

With FSR on I was seeing 150-160fps at 4k in the MW2 beta so I can't imagine it will be pushing it much.

I'm tempted by the 4090 to do Cyberpunk in 4k with everything turned on. I imagine those into MS Flight sim will benefit too but in general I don't think there's much to gain at the moment.

FPS wise it might be driver related? I had a driver update specifically for the beta and I was seeing average 150fps in 4k. Only turned down the shadows to medium and everything else was maxed. TTK seemed really slow for me and super fast for everyone shooting me 🤣

They should fit ok. The Ultraleggera clear Brembo callipers with 280mm discs and they are bigger than Wilwood callipers.

That's not at the highest graphics settings though, only on medium, and it's an extreme example. Most modern titles see zero gain at higher resolutions as they're GPU bound and utilise multiple cores a lot more. If money is no object or for eSports then fair enough. But at this stage it's best...

It's game dependant and again makes more of a difference at lower resolutions.

3DX isn't worth it at higher resolutions. You are always GPU bound. Benefits are minimal over 1080P. You'd gain more leaving the existing CPU and get a 6950XT. £800 for one of them at the moment. The faster memory than the 6800/6900 helps quite a bit...
