Get the car on a rolling road/dyno and see what sort of power and torque is available at the top end of the rev range. If theres alot (like if you had a Honda V-tec) it may be worth uping the limit but personally i think the extra few hundred revs will make more noise than power on almost any Clio.
Dont even talk to me about Mongoose exausts! Mine just about fits after re-fitting it so many times. Although it sounds and looks great, it knocks everywhere and because its a bad fit the rubbers are too tight and sqeak at times.
Still sounds like its leaking but i think my maifold to...
In all fairness F1 cars arent supposed to in anyway resemble road cars. They are meant to be the pinnicle of engineering (so we are to believe)
Companies use the clean cut image and mass audiences of F1 to associate their product with the most advanced race cars in the world. A 200mph...
Does anyone know where the sender is for the level and temp gauges? Mine have packed up aswell, although the pressure guage is fine.
Everyone suggests obvious things like check the wiring plugs but anyone got any further knowledge???
No, because peak torque and power is way below the standard rev limiter in nearly every road car.
The only benefit is you will carry more revs to the next ratio so speed will pick up again more quickly. Road car ratios are generally fairly long so they can reach top speeds of 120+mph...

It is true, most of the racing calipers have softer seals as they are meant to be rebuilt every event or two. So after a few hundred miles you may get problems. Cant guarantee this though
Willwood have developed a road seal for their calipers so basically you dont ever touch them once they...
Although F1 might look boring, slow and not very skilled you do see a different side of it working within it. Building the cars that can corner at 160mph and that create enough downforce to stick to a ceilling at under 100mph, let alone the shear scale of the whole thing, it really is quite...

If you only go on a track evry now and then, jsut swap the brakes over. Youll want to bleed and reniew fluid regularly if you drive hard so its no big deal.
But then you want the best brakes for the track...
Run 16s on the track with the biggest brakes you can get on there
Didnt know you were gonna be around at the weekend, i was in Bristol sunday till tuesday seeing the old man. Didnt have the clio though, bought the g/friends 106 xsi.
Ill drop you an e-mail next time im down with the clio.

bugger, ill try again.
What i basically said was, i still have the complete x-flow and i need to get rid of it fairly soon as the barns its in are being converted to workshops and we no longer have room to store it.
I will take between £200 and £250. If i could gaurantee the spec i...

Cheers lads,
