Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
Loving this!
Awesome little PH1, makes me want mine back :(
I especially like the highlighted part! Interested to hear what you have planned ;)
No longer own the car, but they were 20mm yeah.
The rears were done as well, 7mm IIRC.
Take a look through here:

Everything you could ever wish to know ;)
They were 20mm mate :).
The only problem I had, was the standard bolts needed a tiny bit taking off of the end, because they would foul the hub.
Basically the bolt was longer than the spacer is wide, and wouldn't do up fully, so the end of the bolt needed a little bit taking off. Simple, and easy!
As Rob said!
I personally went for FK's on my PH1, and they were spot on, never had a problem.
Look here:

You want Type B Centric.
Same here.
Although, they still seem to be getting some nice results with it!
In comparison to more modern engines it is somewhat limited now though :(
Portable?
Or desktop bound?
The difference being portable ones use a 2.5" or 1.8" drive, and connects via USB. For ease of portability etc.
Non portable being a 3.5" drive and having to use a power adaptor into a plug socket, still connecting via USB.
An external hard drive is probably the best solution, and are perfect for backing things up.
Anything Western Digital would be a good shout.
Been using them for years and years and never had a problem. Mine are currently 2 years old without a hiccup! So as reliable as you are going to get...
Bought this today (finally)
Gamestation are doing a good deal for £22.49 at the moment!!

Really?
It's not that. You know it isn't about the 'power' factor that PC's have over the current generation of consoles. (Somewhat related, but not directly).
Valve has never been about extreme gaming rigs, and needing the best hardware in order to play their games. I cannot recall one Valve...
LOL!
Spot on :rasp:
Hardly. Valve know what they're doing.
The Orange box, for the most part was a failure (Wasn't it? I cannot remember!!).
Anyone who played HL in the past, and wants to continue the story will have done so on a PC, so people who now want to play it on a console are just...
Couldn't agree more!
Being force fed ribbons and achievement's is starting to take the piss to be honest! I mean, the points boost is nice, but it's ridiculous the amount you receive!
A system where you rank up each ribbon would be nicer than having the same target to earn that particular...
