Ok good, after rebooting, did you see any other symptoms, or did it look healthier? Can you try downloading Superantispyware please?

Run that [in full on all local drives] and report back.
Out of interest, if I was to upgrade via iTunes, am I still able to subsequently request an unlock code from O2?
If it wasn't for some of the pikey apps stipulating versions in their software I wouldn't have this issue.
[Thanks Andy]
At the risk of being completely and utterly invisible again. I will repeat, Avast has pointed out an infection, run an online scan at NOD32's site, or Kaspersky and report back what it says.
Question:
My iPhone 3G is still on version 3.0 firmware. I want to update to version 3.1.3, but, I don't want it touching my baseband. I'm not fussed about jailbreaking, but I definitely don't want to lose unlocking ability.
iPhone is an original UK O2 phone, but I'm using other SIM's in it...
Check your browser add-ons, [tools>add-ons] in both FF and IE. Remove anything Java related from the list, retry, if that doesn't work also remove Java from your machine, retry.
Let me know if that helps your problem.
I doubt it's a hosts file entry, but you can check by looking in your...
Oh, I see, so the TZ7 is incapable of shooting "decent photos". You can disagree all you like, there's plenty of supporting critique on the negative effects when using Vivid.
With regard to negating the point? I thought the point was it's light, compact, single button operation and...
Negative, vivid is horrible, it makes the pictures noisy and over processed. Shoot in the default mode, then bump up the levels/curve later in software, otherwise you're compromising your picture.
Entry: "The streets have no name"
It's my first entry to the competition :approve:
The picture was taken with a TZ7 at a village near to Luang Prabang, Laos. It [like so many places I've visited] struck me by the differences from London; a completely different way of life. I chose to...
I have my EEEPC 901HD with me on my world tour, it's been an absolute godsend. Depending on the type of travel you're doing, the main concern is battery life. On this I can watch two movie's on a bus journey, or get circa 8 hours of low intensity stuff.
The keyboard is actually something you...
I'd like to see some benchmarks between the iPad and the Acer Ferrari, I reckon the Acer to be a much more capable and better spec'd machine - only annoying thing is that it too lacks HDMI.
Plenty of quick Netbooks around these days, that you can make things on and not just view.
Typing with one hand is farking ghey, the reason I love the iPhone's keyboard is being able to type easily with both thumbs, on this that's impossible, meaning I'd type on my phone quicker, making it also fail.
I understand pre-order and sales seem to be healthy, I just can't get my head around...
Do it, for any money, 6 months or a year down the line [with projects under your belt] you should jump ship and get a decent increase. Usually in house promotion will get you half of what you could get my moving company. You'll also find that with a job offer on the line, most employers will...
Question is, does that gap exist for the majority of people? Oh more over, since Netbooks were introduced that market has already shrunk considerably.
The only people I can see buying this are, people who don't own an iPhone/smartphone, or those who have either more money than sense and want...
Spotted one of these on HUKD, figured why not and bought one.
They got mixed reviews when launched, but have since improved. Basically a 7" touchscreen with WIFI, Internet Radio, streaming abilities (DivX, AVI usual codecs), can function as a photo frame (via local USB, HDD, NAS or Flickr...
The iPad is like the Air though, outdated on launch, but unique at the same time. Personally I wish they'd of have scrapped it and released a nice netbook [maybe with touchscreen].
I won't be getting one, iPhone is perfect for what it does.
Spice it up, have some different themes, get some other proverby things - like Penis, Minge, Hand or something.
Maybe add a scoring system that logs scores for each game [are clients aware of winning hand]? If so, make sure the score is remembered between clients [logging UID?].
Seasonal...
I read your contradiction prior to posting you plum, but you're not the only one making 'I'm not guilty' comments. We're all guilty, just the MPAA fail to see how to convert people to doing it the 'right' way, in their eyes. It certainly isn't by a 6 month law suit on each and every site that...
I do love all this 'I'd have bought it anyway, I'm not guilty... it's the film industries loss' talk, chuckle chuckle. While it's true that it doesn't equate to a loss 1:1, of course it affects revenue - retailers, rentals and cinema for non-blockbusters all get hit I expect.
They need to take...
RA2 is one of the few games that plays well on my netbook, and that's traveled the last 25,000miles with me. Cured my boredom on many many occasions!
That and Rome:Total War! (which tbh is even better than RA, Vikings rules!)
Yes you can, easily, try comparing your playback mode against the Lumix, then tell me that. I also thought full manual wasn't an issue, until I bought my Lumix traveling... as it turned out, it would have been very useful for some photos, if only to get more dof.
Looks decent, though I can't understand why they used a 2 year old screen resolution, instead of an equivalent Lumix res. Cost, not battery life I expect.
Also a shame it doesn't give you full manual control like the TZ10, and that you lose 50mm zoom. On the plus side, 10fps is good [though a...
Really can't see the point. There's devices out there that will do these things a million times better.
Applaud someone for trying it, but it serves no purpose.
