They are practically impossible to remove from the trim so if it's been replaces at some time that's probably why the wire was cut.

LY tax is strong on the F1's. Personally I don't think the mk3 ly's deserve the same premium the mk2's do because there's so many more of them out there. This nimbus one has been for sale all year nearly and as 1 of 55 compared to 142 LY ones it's gotta be a better investment...
