so... when you go into say a big office complex they have multiple wireless routes around the building so the whole building has wifi coverage. but you only enter the password once and from then on your phone will just switch between them all so you have coverage.
how would you do this at home...
my brain isn't wired that way sadly :( ill stick to cnc machines.
what I was getting at was cos it wasn't taught at school I wasn't interested in it. its only of recent years its become of huge interest, I just wish I had time among all my other hobbies to add electronics

I hated school, didn't do home work or study, my best grade was a D. I just wanted to leave and get a job, so that's what I did.

so ive got a brand new BT HH and ive ran a cat5 cable to my workshop. I need something to go on the workshop end to provide internet.
I used to use an old BT HH 4, but are there any better solutions out there?
i wouldnt have bothered with crimper, those ends/connectors are so small i normally find the wire just slides out once crimped. a drop of solder normally does the job just perfect.
but seriously if you have the new battery already, cut the old wires off the battery, cut as close to battery as...
were i up and running in my workshop i have a load, i could send you a couple, but they are pack away somewhere in my garage. no idea where they are without emptying my whole garage.
they are standard connetors, RS do them.
other option cut the old wires and just join new wires to old wires...
