A lot of the TomTom iPhone sales I'm pretty sure can be attributed to "branding" because their software offering is nowhere near as good as their competitors on the iPhone platform. I'd read the iPhone forum over at pocketgpsworld before parting with any cash.

I still can't take any phone operating system seriously when it's application SDK is java based (and the dev tools too, eclipse...urgh), especially considering that it runs the linux kernel, shame on google.

As long as they support the usb-audio class any usb headphones will work.

I've upgraded on my work PC before and my iPhone is synced to my mac and it's not caused a problem or wiped it.

Have a look at the network settings on your iPhone and see what the various IP settings are on that.

Eh? The TomTom dock is nothing to do with Apple, TomTom can select a price and charge whatever they want for it.

If you're on Sky Connect (i.e through BT not LLU'd) then it's possible that you're being traffic shaped, sky have been doing this for a while apparently, I went over to my parents last week and was horrified at my dads download speed, was down to dial up speeds. Have a read of the skyuser.co.uk...

What phone do you have? If you have the iPhone there's nothing you can do to get the bolt on as it's been removed as a "purchasable" bolt-on, and you can't have it as the free one as your unlimited web is counted as your free one.

Which it won't, the dev tools will be crap in comparison to the iPhone and apple already had a massive online store that they leveraged to provide a decent distribution model.

It was more about a orange store manager knowing Apples future plans! :clown: Exclusivity will definately dissapear at some point.

You can't. A retail copy of OS X requires EFI and not a BIOS.
