im after the front shockers and springs for a 35-40mm drop. Prima racing say;
Koni front struts £175
Spax fronts £170
and springs for £55
wondering if anyone knows that these can be beaten, I intend to fit them my self.
cheers, pete
Went on a 400 mile roadtrip in my valve but towards the end it developed a wierd rotating clonking noise from the rear, only really happens when i start to pull up ready to stop, i.e pulling up to traffic lights, pulling to a holt etc. My thinking is that the torsion bar could need greasing...
i need to replace the leccy window motor in the passenger door and replace the switch, is it easy to do? Is the door panel held on with glue (along with screws)?
cheers, pete
i doubt very much that that is normal mate. id have thought fitting lowering springs would instantly lower the car.
someone tell me different?......
pete
craig mate, i work at Infast in Derby, if you fancy a trip down there we can sort you out mate with some loctite or other such product. BTW howz the alpine headunit coming on?
pete
£600+
(although, if i had to get my naples red valver fully resprayed i would deffo be happy with paying £1500, as long as you know that itll be good quality)

adams2k, youll have to let me know mate how the alpine works out. if so could i be cheeky and ask for the webpage of the company that your buying it off!!
cheers for all the advice lads, pete
i like the alpine cos of the quality and the top notch headunits offer 4x60watts, but like adams_2k said there a bit bland looking at the moment. I wonder if theyre gonna be releasing any new units soon?
cliojohn; anything up to £250 for the headunit.
cheers people, pete
I need;
New headunit + must be compatable with the steering wheel remote,
4 x 13cm speakers
I wanna get the same name for everything and i was swaying towards Alpine but none of their headunits particulary stand out and grab me, i dont know what to do...
