my old clio was mapped on optimax, i took it to the RR on normal 95ron, and it was pinking slightly top end!

sorry, i didnt mean drivers for the HDD, i presumed he meant it rebooted itself during windows boot up. Im guessing it doesnt even get to this stage?

sounds like a driver problem, press F8 as its booting just after the post screen and try going into it in safe mode!

danny, iv not put it anywhere yet, but i think its goin on the dash under the rev counter as its only thin and fits spot on! ill put pics up etc if i get it fitted

Ben, i thought it might but wasnt sure! so can i wire this shift light up to it with its single wire for rpm pulse?? or should i just wire a single light up to those wires? Where are the these wires mate? if poss id rather use this one as its a sequential jobbie, with about 4 lights in green...

I've got a shift light to fit, and the instructions say it needs to go to the pulse to the rev counter. Does anyone know what colour wire it is in the plug to the rev counter! Thats of course if it can be fitted to a mk1 clio this way..? or will it need to run off the coil? Cheers for any...
