get teh goodmans mate, honestly its v good for the money! iv tried 3 now and its the best by far! and I usually buy decent branded stuff! I just didnt want to fork out £100 just to get freeview when iv got better things to spend my money on!
It also gets the best reception out of the others...
ignore that! lol!! i thought 40degrees on the gauge was 20 looking at that vid! So everything i said add 20degrees onto it, as the gauge starts at 40 doh! lol!! So yes it runs between 65 and 95 usually, not 45 and 80! anything over 60 degrees is fine!

clutch control, just control the throttle and clutch.
I launch at 2krpm, half throttle and control the clutch untill the cars moving enough for it to be at 4krpm in 1st, then plant the throttle! problem iv got then is wheelspin till 3rd! booo!
throttle bodies are better than carbs! more expensive, but better!
you will need cams, pulleys, headwork, few custom bits and bobs including inlet manifold, also may need injectors, hi comp pistons, steel crank etc, depending how far you want to go, as well as the TBies, management...

these were on the car when i bought it, but wondered if they could go any lower as there seems to be some of thread left, but im sure the previous owner said they were on the lowest! they are low, but not THAT low really! i want slightly lower!

up to 90, with a bit of momentum advantage my old 106gti kept with a cup no problem!
on the twisties he had me after the bends due to lack of torque on the 1.6! but handling wise about the same.
the gti's are quick cars up to 90, just a bit cack after that
all on a trackday btw! :)
